In early 2024, I worked with Watershed to drive the launch of their new product - Watershed for CSRD - which they built to help companies comply with the demanding ESG reporting requirements under the EU’s Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (the CSRD).
The objective was threefold:
Raise awareness of Watershed, in general, in new European markets like France and Germany
Raise awareness and generate demand for the new product ahead of the first wave of CSRD reporting in 2025
Use the new product to reinforce Watershed’s credentials as a complete sustainability platform
I embedded with the team for a month in London in order to manage the launch, working closely with Product, Policy, Marketing, Sales and Executive Leadership to codify the positioning and messaging. This served as the blueprint for website copy, blog posts, the press release and sales materials.
